Murderer Joran van der Sloot is Getting Married

LIMA, Peru –  Joran van der Sloot's lawyer says the convicted murderer is soon to be both father and husband.
Maximo Altez tells The Associated Press the 26-year-old Dutchman and his Peruvian fiancee have nearly completed legal arrangements to wed. He says the future Mrs. van der Sloot is five months pregnant with a boy.
Altez has said van der Sloot met 22-year-old Leydi Figueroa while selling goods inside Lima's Piedras Gordas prison.
A wedding date has not yet been set.

Van der Sloot remains the chief suspect in the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway. He is serving 28 years for killing a Peruvian student in 2010.
Altez says van der Sloot keeps busy teaching English to fellow inmates and is studying international commerce via a correspondence course.
