Protest in Oregon over lock downs

The protest was mostly peaceful but some arrest were made.

The protesters wanted in to a meeting air their concerns over the lock downs. The meeting at the Capitol was supposed to be public assess but those who showed up were not allowed into the building. This is where a confrontation took place the led to some pepper spraying, gas and an arrest.

The riot police where called in and at one point damaged a truck that was blocking the roadway. Also a few alleged Antifa members showed up, broke some door windows but they were quickly escorted by the patriot protesters out of the area.

Later the riot police and patriot protesters came to an agreement and the police left. Some of the protesters stayed around. During the whole event there were many chants of "USA, USA, USA" and many bullhorn speeches about Freedom and being a free country.

Two large monuments, which were covered with tarps, were uncovered by the patriot protesters. One man, owner of a swim school, talked about the hardships of having to close his business. These folks seemed to want to get their stores and job sites back up and going. One man said "I don't want a check, I want to work". Many complained about businesses closing down for good and how they can't even go out and have a sit down dinner.

The majority of the event was streaming via Facebook Live by the The Black Conservative Preacher
