On Monday May 13, 2019 Bell County Deputy Max Graves arrested 32 year old Mindy Lester of Middlesboro at the Farmer Helton Judicial Center in Pineville. The arrest was in regard to three bench warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of criminal trespassing 3rd degree, and failing to send her children to school.

On Wednesday May 8, 2019 Bell County Deputy Adam Southern arrested 45 year old Ernest Lee Taylor of Sneedville Tennessee in regard to two warrants taken out by CSX Police Department. The warrants served are for burglary – 3rd degree and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
Taylor was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
On Saturday May 11, 2019 Bell County Deputy Patrick Brooks arrested 39 year old Jeremiah Fugate after responding to a residence on Tommy Smith Park Road in the Straight Creek area in regard to a domestic assault complaint.
Deputy Brooks states that he heard Fugate raise his voice, throw open the door with a child in arm, and strike a woman at the residence in the left eye with an open hand. The woman began to bruise around the left eye while the deputy was on scene speaking with her.
Jeremiah Fugate was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with assault – 4th degree (domestic violence).
