A MAN who took pictures of himself raping a seven-year-old girl has been jailed for nine years.
James Felton, 34, was said to have acted in “a moment of madness”.Cops quizzed him after they were contacted by teachers worried about the child’s behaviour.
Felton denied doing anything wrong but officers found two images of the rape on his mobile.
There were also porn pictures and a video clip of an animated character with a child’s face having sex with two people.
Janet Ironfield, defending, told Preston Crown Court the rape was “opportunistic and impulsive”.
Felton, of Blackpool, Lancs, had claimed he was not sexually interested in children.
But he admitted rape, possessing extreme pornography and an indecent image of a child.
He will be on the Sex Offender Register for life.
