Cars pulled from Okla. lake - 6 Bodies inside

It's a mystery more than four decades in the making. Two cars -- rusted, caked with mud and carrying as many as six bodies -- pulled from the bottom of an Oklahoma lake.

According to CNN affiliates KFOR and KOCO, Custer County sheriff's deputies weren't looking for the cars Tuesday, but found them anyway when Oklahoma Highway Patrol sonar equipment being used for another purpose revealed their location at the bottom of the reservoir about 150 miles west of Oklahoma City.

Investigators say they believe one car may belong to a teenager who disappeared with two friends in 1970. The other car could be linked to the disappearance of a man in 1969, the stations reported.

Debbie McManamman said she believes the older car, which appears to be a 1950s-era Chevrolet, contains the remains of her grandfather, KFOR reported. The station didn't name the man, and Custer County authorities told CNN early Wednesday that Sheriff Bruce Peoples wasn't available for comment.

"We never gave up, we always wanted some clue that somebody knew something," McManamman told the station.

"It's been very traumatic -- I can remember my dad having dreams at night and getting in the car as soon as he was off from his day job, taking my mom, and they would look and look and look -- any trace," McManamman said.

Peoples told KOCO on Tuesday that the other car, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, may have belonged to 16-year-old Jimmy Williams, a Sayre, Oklahoma, teenager who disappeared in 1970 with two friends: Thomas Rios and Leah Johnson, both 18.

The disappearances have long been part of local lore, Sayre resident Mandy Dunlap told KFOR.

"Everybody's just talking about it, you know, can't believe after so many years we're finding those vehicles in a lake," she told the station.

Peoples told KOCO that he hoped the discoveries could help put families at ease about what happened to their loved ones so many years ago.

"It has real importance to the families to determine, so they can have closure and know what happened to their families and have remains and to go on with life now," he said.

China and Russia Training Together

Anit-terrorist commandos
China's Snow Leopard Commandos

While you were not looking, a couple of big time players in world affairs were having a little get together.

On June 11th, Chinese and Russian special forces held a 10 day joint military exercise in Beijing.
The title given to this joining of forces was "Cooperation 2013".
This marked the first ever joint training operation held in China.

46 personnel from China's elite anti-terrorism Snow Leopard Commandos joined with 29 Russians from a special task force unit in domestic security.

According to reports the 2 forces aimed to learn from each other to improve their counter terrorism skills and tactics. The military exercises consisted of training courses on shooting, forced entry, hostage rescue and terrorist camp raids.

This is not the first time these 2 forces have worked together, back in Sept. 2007, a training exercise was held in Russia.

As these 2 strong military forces continue to strengthen their ties, one can only wonder what might come from it.

Thanks

Shocking Statistics from Great Britain

who the babys daddy
Bloody unbelievable, shocking really
Shag on! But at what cost?

A shocking 54 percent of babies born to British mothers in 2012 were unmarried parent, According to Britain's Office of National Statistics.

Overall, 47.5 percent of children born last year were born out of wedlock. Shocking indeed.

The reason a majority of children were born to married parents is that immigrant mothers are more likely to be married the natural British citizens.

Britain is a world leader in broken homes and that is just shocking. Broken and single parent homes can have a devastation effect on children.

Thanks

The Price Of Terrorism

Terrorism in America
Towers coming down
America's cost to defend against terrorism is a big drain on the economy. The sad part is that it's also not very effective or so it seems.

Here is a quote from Osama Bin Laden:
"Al Qaeda spent $500,000 on the 9/11 attacks...America lost..while according to the lowest estimates, more that $500 Billion..."

Adam Gadahn, an Al Qaeda spokesman said: " Even failed attacks bring major cities to a halt, cost the enemy billions, and send his corporations into bankruptcy."

Lets look at some of the stats and details about the cost of terrorism.

     * The U.S. has spent $1.1 Trillion on homeland security since 9/11 (But is it working)

     * U.S. Air Marshal Program is costing an annual cost of $1.2 billion with the number of lives believed to have been saved at a whopping ZERO!

     * War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan is costing over $2 Trillion! Another 2-4 Trillion if you add in Medical care and disability benefits for soldiers.

     * Airport security, AKA Body Scanner program is costing an Annual $1.2 Billion!

The full body scanner was implemented in a reaction to the "Underwear bomber".

With all this money and security measures you would think it's much safer, I guess it is a little, but according to statics, 7 out of 10 weapons are still getting though screeners at airports.

So even if these methods manage to stop a few possible terror attacks, the cost is bankrupting America.

So is there any other solution? This question is open for some debate that is for sure, but it would seem a more effective way would be to control our borders and who is coming into America. Whatever the next plan is to foil terror attacks can't come soon enough for an America that continues to be at an economical stand still.

Thanks
